Thank you to italianaries322 for your recent suggestions! I was able to locate the movies you listed and find the WTC in them.

It's funny where my searches take me. I've been looking for a movie called Okay, Pal! from 1974. Instead I stumbled on a French movie called O.K. Patron from 1974. Two completely different movies, both set in New York. I was happy to discover that O.K. Patron had the New York skyline near the beginning, complete with the WTC towers. (I will continue to search for Okay, Pal! as well.)
